O.T.B. Delight Cafe moves further north into Wesley Chapel

WESLEY CHAPEL - Five years ago, O.T.B. Delight Cafe opened up across from Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel, and this month it is moving north on Bruce B. Downs Blvd. to a new location in Nye Commons.

Owner Dirson De Mesquita said he wanted to set up his restaurant for further growth and expansion and be able to design his own kitchen in the recently constructed Nye Commons.

Just like the original location, O.T.B Delight Cafe, which stands for Only The Best, there are no freezers, microwaves or fryers in the kitchen.

"We pride ourselves in being able to cook from scratch," De Mesquita said.

O.T.B Delight Cafe offers freshly prepared food using grass-fed beef, free range chicken and locally grown produce.

Deli meats are nitrate free and reduced sodium. Many menu items are vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free.

Open for breakfast and lunch, there are a variety of salads, rice bowls, hot and cold sandwiches, soups, chili and burritos made with whole wheat tortillas.

Two of the favorite "bodacious burritos:" The Going Back to Cali with shredded chicken, jasmine rice, carrots, caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, sprouts and chipotle aioli topped with organic salsa; and the "Santa Fe Shrimp" with Southwestern spiced shrimp, green cabbage, jasmine rice, tomato, avocado, green onion, pepper jack cheese and santa fe sauce.

Breakfast options include omelets, wraps, burritos and egg dishes. Acai bowls and fresh juices will soon be added to the menu.

O.T.B Delight Cafe also offers catering and meal prepping.

O.T.B Delight Cafe is at 4839 Bruce B Downs Blvd. It is open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. For more information, call (813) 666-8800, or visit otbdelightcafe.com.
