He may have the song of the summer in Despacito. Now Luis Fonsi is hoping that magic stretches into fall.
The Puerto Rican heartthrob singer, whose Justin Bieber- and Daddy Yankee-assisted remix became a rare non-primarily-English song to top the Billboard Hot 100, is bringing his "Song + Dance" tour to Ruth Eckerd Hall on Sept. 20, the venue has announced. (He'll also be at Orlando's Hard Rock Live on Sept. 23.) Tickets to the Clearwater show start at $53.25. Click here.
Booking a Latin pop star is rare for Ruth Eckerd Hall, but anytime you can snag the man behind one of the hottest hits in the world, you take it. Fonsi had a big fan base before Desapacito, too, having won a Latin Grammy for Song of the Year for 2009's Aqui Estoy Yo.
No word on whether Bieber will join him in Clearwater, but we're guessing probably not.
