The Tampa Bay region is transitioning from fog to rain on Friday, as a cold front also will bring a return to more winter-like conditions this weekend.

Feels-like temperatures around the Tampa Bay area

Friday will be the last warm day for quite a while as the front will keep high temperatures from reaching past the mid-60s this weekend and well into next week, 10Weather WTSP meteorologist Grant Gilmore said.

A few areas — especially along the coast — experienced dense patchy morning. That’s a change from Thursday, when a MLK Dream Big Parade will encounter sunshine, but will need a sweater as highs staying in the low 60s — and remaining that way approaching next weekend.
