The Florida Strawberry Festival is down one Jonas Brother.
Pop group DNCE, led by singer Joe Jonas, has pulled out of its March 1 headlining slot on Night 1 of the 2018 Strawberry Fest, organizers announced Friday. The official reason: "A scheduling conflict." No shortcake by the ocean for these guys, it seems.
"With the hectic schedules these artists have, this can unfortunately happen," said Strawberry Festival president Paul Davis. "But we're committed to providing terrific entertainment for our guests and will exhaust every effort to book a great entertainer for opening night."
DNCE is the second headliner to pull out of this year's fest due to a schedule conflict. The Band Perry canceled their March 3 slot last fall and were swiftly replaced by Big and Rich.
Festival organizers are working on booking a replacement for DNCE, and when they do, tickets already purchased for DNCE will be good then. Otherwise, fans with questions about tickets can call (813) 719-6680.
