The trustee chose to receive his winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment in the amount of $281,874,999.00. []

Shane Missler, just 20 years old, stepped forward to claim the fourth biggest Mega Millions jackpot ever on Friday.

Missler, from Port Richey, opted to take a lump sum payment of $281,874,999, according to the Florida Lottery. The jackpot was $450 million.

The day before he turned in his ticket, Missler tweeted about the power of positive thinking. Almost immediately after his winning was made public, strangers began tweeting at him, some with advice and others simply drawn to his newfound money.
